This program started in May of 2014 - it runs monthly so you can jump in at any time!*

Our Kit of the Month program is designed to bring you fun, creative & quick projects for you to whip up throughout the year! As well, each project will be a skill builder.

You now have 2 options: In store pick up OR Delivered to your door

In Store Pick up: Sign up for $45.00* and get 6 months worth of kits (1 free kit per month for 6 consecutive months). Each kit retails from $8.00-15.00+ for a savings of up to approx. $45.00, so that’s up to 50% off or more!!! Click on the “KOM Brochure 2015″ link above for the program brochure. Additional items available as optional purchases (i.e. yardage for backing, co-ordinating thread, rulers or special batting)

You can’t come in one month or missed it, no worries if you miss a month, your average saving will still be great! However you can not get a previous months kit in a future month.

If you decide you don’t want to continue… that’s ok, see you around and thank you for participating as long as you did. We had fun and hope you did too (i.e. no refunds on unused months). Also, your KOM experience is NOT transferable to family or friends, you must pick up your own kit and they must purchase their own KOM experience or full priced kits. You will be given information on a members only page & password on our website. The program may be subject to changes at our discretion at any time without notice. And may include additional perks, special incentives and or raffles at any given time!

Examples of kits are listed below.

The kits will usually include a majority of the fabric and supplies you need to finish the project such as fabrics, fusible, pre-cut/pre-fused shapes, buttons & embellishments. They may also pre-fused, die cut shapes and things, to save time and energy! Need more let us know and we can make them up for you for a nominal fee. The kits will include either a demonstration, pattern, instruction and/or link to a tutorial, etc. You may have to bust your stash and add additional fabrics, embellishments, etc. some months. 6 Easy fun projects for you to do for yourself or to use as gifts throughout the year, for the holidays or for other special occasions that may come up! *$45.00 is the cash discount price, in store pick up program price is $50.00. *Most months kits will be available by the first of the month; there is no guarantee of availability throughout/towards the end of month. Due to unforeseen/high demand, once kits sell out, they may not be available. “Delivered to your door” kits will be guaranteed.

• October (2015): Holiday Elegance Pillow - Having fun with panels (& bling): Working with a doube needle, Who said you have to use that panel for a quilt? Everything looks gorgeous with bling!

Session 2 (Confident Beginner/Intermediate) $60.00 Fall/Halloween Mystery (12 month) 2nd Friday nights 6:30-8:00 (Started October 10, 2025)

Coming in October -Trick or Treat…Lets get together to make this devilishly sweet scrappy Fall/Halloween treat of a quilt just in time for next Fall/Halloween. Wonderful skill builder for many skill levels. Monthly meet ups with tips & tricks and full page pattern sheet(s); Facebook group; private shopping experiences, ect. You will compile a complete 25 page pattern by the end of the program! Runs concurrently with other block of the months. A supply list will be given.*(Dates - 10/10/14, 11/14/14, 12/12/14, 1/9/15, 2/13/15, 3/13/15, 4/10/15, 5/8/15, 6/12/15, 7/10/15, 8/21/15=3rd Friday, 9/11/15, 10/9/15)

*Fine print - Fabric is NOT included, unless noted. It may be available for purchase at a discount. There are no additional fee’s associated with the Block of the Month once you’ve paid for the program fee, however you must come in and pick up your own monthly pattern at some point within the month, regardless if you can not make the monthly meet up. I am not able to provide one-on-one tips/tricks or demo’s for those who are not able to make the monthly meet up’s and need assistance; in this case you may opt to schedule paid class time with me. Meet ups may include product displays and or demonstrations; “what’s new” details and KOM displays. Patterns will be included as noted and provided at the beginning or the end of the specific program, as applicable. No refunds will be provided unless the shop cancels the program all together. If you chose not to participate any longer, you can request your pattern which will be provided within one months time, from the time of notice given to the shop owner. In fairness to all participants - there is an expectation that you will make necessary efforts to be on time as the meet ups will start promptly at the stated times. Please plan your time accordingly so that you have enough time to arrive on time and arrive safely . Show & tell of monthly program quilts/work is encouraged. Out of respect for participants, non program related chit chat should be dedicated to the pre/post meet up times. Programs are subject to change without notice.
